Find us at the MIT Activities Midway September 2nd!

About Us

Founded in 1998, Imobilare is a bboy crew and an ASA-recognized student group at MIT that promotes bboying and providing opportunities for students to learn how breakdance and improve their bboying skills.

Imobilare hosts regular breakdance practices at MIT, and the group performs at events on campus and all over the Boston area. We have been featured in the Boston Globe numerous times and continue to establish a growing footprint within the local bboy community.

At MIT, Imobilare invites students of all experience levels to take part and jam with us. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Practices and Workshops

During the semester, we hold bboy practices according to the following schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

All practices take place on the third floor of the Building 34 elevator lobby (see map above)

In addition, we also hold a semi-regular bboy workshop during the semester Sundays at 4:30pm.

Not available at these times? Feel free to email us - someone is usually always down to practice!
